- 1 Cup Milk Powder
1 Litre Milk
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Baking Powder3-4 Green Cardamoms Whole
1 Tbsp Ghee
1 Tsp Kewra
1/2 Tsp + 1/2 Tsp Green Cardamoms Ground
almonds And Pistas Slivered
Mix the milk powder, egg,
baking powder, ghee and 1/2 tsp ground cardamom. Knead well. Make small balls
and set aside. Boil the milk with the sugar and the whole cardamoms till it is
reduced to half. Add to this the prepared balls and cook for 8 - 10 minutes over
a low heat. Tilting the pan occasionally. When the balls have doubled in size.
Remove from the heat. Add the kewra, almonds, pistas and remaining cardamom
powder. Serve cold.
