Syria bomb kills 9, Damascus blames foreign plot

UK may keep troops in Afghanistan post-2014 to fight terrorism

It is the first time Britain has given any indication it may keep forces in Afghanistan after 2014 apart from a small training contingent. Bomb at Italian school kills teenage girl, wounds 10
